School Mental Health Ontario – A Province-Wide Implementation Network
SMHO is an implementation support team that provides resources, training and implementation support to the Ontario network of school board-based professionals responsible for developing and implementing a contextual Mental Health and Addictions strategy for their school board. These Mental Health Leads (MHL) are senior mental health clinicians who report to a superintendent (SO) responsible for their board's mental health portfolio. This network aims to establish the conditions for effective and sustained implementation of practices that will proactively support student mental health across the province (to learn more about SMHO, please visit: smho-smso.ca).
