PhD Candidate - Sarah Moroz

Profile

Sarah is a Ph.D. Candidate in Social Psychology at Western University. Her research, which is focused on modern homonegativity and other subtle forms of discrimination, has been supported by a SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship (Doctoral), an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and a SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship (Master’s); she also won the Canadian Psychological Association’s Morrison Award for excellence in LGBTQ+ inclusive research in 2015. Sarah has taught undergraduate courses at Western and at St. Jerome’s University at the University of Waterloo, and completed the Western Certificate in University Teaching and Learning. She has also created an online module on LGBTQ identities for the faculty and staff of Lambton College and presented guest lectures in various courses at Western University.
